Tuesday Open Day

Good afternoon,

This morning kicked off with Room 1's official blessing and opening...

...before Mr Shae, Miss Rooney and Mr Jeffs planted a tree to commemorate the launch of our EnviroSchool journey.

We even had some time for maths, which was a little unexpected!

After writing (WALT write arguments - ask the children for the success criteria and to identify these bits here), reading and a spot of lunch the J Team got together for a sing-song...

...before heading outside for some big ball skills. Room 2 are learning to pass and catch a rugby ball. A very important skill for all New Zealanders!

The children will also be out in the field on Thursday afternoon. We have had confirmation that some KiwiSport tutors will be here on Thursday to take the children through their paces. So they will not need to bring their dress uniform on Thursday, as they will be staying in their P.E. uniform all day.

Good evening,

Mr Grant, Rat and Rattie
