    When I asked Ryan he said that the 'kiwiboat' and the 'moaboat' shot a submarine? was this the I-9?(it sounds like I-9 on the avatar but from what I can see on the blog maybe Ryan is talking about the I-1?)

    Opps, yep, it was the I-1. I've just changed the Avitar.

    And well done Ryan, it was indeed the Kiwi and the Moa. The Kiwi didn't so much as shoot the Japanese sub, but rather...[fill in the blank]

    Ok so after some quick googling (and yes I admit learning)the Kiwi rammed the Japanese sub. "Rammed and wrecked her in shallow water at Kamimbo bay"
    Ryan asleep so this bit is a joint effort!
    We had a good chuckle about the poor aussie treasure hunter who later blew up the bow while exploring only to discover it was filled with live torpedoes! ooops
