Meandering Monday

Good evening,

Well, another busy day was had here in Room 2. We actually started the day by having a FOD Walk - Foreign Object Damage, like they do on aircraft carriers to pick up stuff that would get sucked up into jet engines. 'Cept we were looking for stones on the field.

Then we had a little maths, which we didn't have time to finish. So the children have taken it home to do. Basically, convert the tally charts that they have done on the colours of the cars that passed the school on Thursday morning, and make it into a bar graph, taking care that all of the Xs line up side by side...

...as taken on my cell phone, 'cause I left the class camera at home.

Thankfully, Miss Shaw had hers to hand when we were visited by two soldiers from Burnham Camp.

They had some cool stuff!

After lunch, we had some R.E. (I'll send some pictures you those concerned later), and we started learning about the Air Force, by having a quick look at one of the clips from yesterday's post, and then identifying where the RNZAF fought, and against who, in WW2.

Right, time to round up some rats who are enjoying a bit of a run around in the room...

Mr Grant

Oh yeah, and the final decision won't be made about the Cross Country until about 0830-0900, so come to school in your cross country gear.
